Frequently asked questions
I understand that you might have questions before you embark on your therapeutic journey. Here are some of the most common queries, designed to give you a clearer picture of what to expect from me and how I can support your mental and physical well-being.
What should I expect from my therapy sessions?
People often ask about what to expect from sessions. I assure them it is a confidential conversation where they have the freedom to share their concerns without fear of discrimination.
Are virtual appointments effective, especially for physical health issues?
People might be curious about virtual appointments and if they were effective. Studies since the Covid pandemic have confirmed the effectiveness of virtual sessions. I would suggest experiencing it for yourself, even for concerns like persistent pain, fatiguing conditions, and weight management issues. Meeting virtually means no time spent on exhausting journeys to appointments.
What should I know to feel comfortable starting therapy with you?
All sessions are private and confidential, and sessions are led by the clients. Your journey is unique, and I respect your pace and priorities, ensuring a safe and experienced space for your growth.
The only time I would break confidentiality is if I was concerned for your or someone else's safety. I would seek help and support to keep everyone safe.
