Welcome
I am Dr Lelanie Smook CPsychol, a Chartered and HCPC registered Consultant Psychologist. I support adults living with the impact of long-term health conditions such as persistent pain, fatiguing conditions such as CFS / ME (chronic fatigue syndrome / myalgic encephalomyelitis) and Long Covid, and weight management concerns.
In addition I support people in the aftermath of a stroke or a cardiac event.I also focus on alleviating the impact of every day mental health concerns, traumatic stress and the impact of PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).
About me
It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business owner, I pride myself on personal attention and dedication to every detail. My approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything I do reflects my commitment to supporting people through difficulties and changes they may face.
I have many years' experience working in both the NHS and in private practice. My areas of expertise include long-term health conditions, and trauma. The experiences we have can sometimes take a toll on our physical body and our mental health. I can support people through these challenging circumstances.
